When navigating complex ideas, it’s important for groups to easily know and reflect on where they are in the conversation. Graphic recording helps track and document ideas so people can orient, navigate, and align their work together. It promotes clarity, group memory and shared understanding. By visualizing what’s being said in real-time, groups literally get on the same page, and much quicker than through talking alone. This is because visual thinking is strongly connected to the emotional regions of our brains as well as areas responsible for empathy and perspective-taking. All important factors in problem solving.

Graphic recording was a perfect addition to our meeting, since our meeting was about engineering robots that mimic nature – a very visual topic!
